The National Winter Activity Center (the “Center”) a non-profit, learn to ski facility in Vernon, NJ opened for the first time this year with the help of a new, fully automated HKD snowmaking system made up of (16) HKD Diablo Tower fan guns and (62) Impulse Towers. This system allowed the mountain to open top to bottom in extremely marginal and challenging conditions, and thus offer ski instruction to a variety of local children’s groups.
