The HKD Impulse R8 is similar in design to the Impulse R4 and R5 but provides an impressive 8 stages of water flow. The additional stages allow for more precise control of water flow to achieve optimal snow quality throughout a wide range of temperatures.
The Impulse R8 utilizes our proven R-valve to easily shift between stages. The combination of internal and external nucleation creates 6 points of water droplet atomization to enhance snow quality in marginal temperatures.
Unlike other snowguns, the Impulse R8 incorporates our patented Impulse Technology. Shifting from stage 1 to stage 8 increases water flow. Shifting to stage 5 through 8 engages the Impulse piston, and eliminates air flow to the top four Impulse nozzles, dropping the CFM by as much as 85%. Technology delivers the highest quality snow, with the least amount of air, at any given temperature.
The Impulse R8 is compatible with the KLiK manual or automatic hydrant, and is available in multiple lengths including 2, 10, 20, and 30 ft. For portability, the 2 ft (Viper) is available on our V-sled and V-tripod, and the 10 ft is available on our S-sled.
