Rev Hydrant

The HKD REV Hydrant is a game-changing addition to our hydrant family. Like the KLiK, the REV replaces traditional snowmaking hydrants and hose, with one streamlined solution.

The REV is self-draining, and its air and water hose always remain connected to the snowgun. This improves operational safety and efficiency by eliminating the time-consuming step of connecting and disconnecting hoses and blowing them out during shut down. The REV is designed for surface and buried installations.

NO SHELTER OR VAULT NEEDED

The REV does not require a shelter or vault when being installed on a buried pipe. Simply backfill around the base of the REV and its air connection, as you would a traditional snowmaking hydrant. This benefit eliminates confined space concerns and reduces the installation cost in both labor and material.

OPERATION

To make snow, turn the handle of the REV to start the flow of water and air to the snowgun and continue turning until the desired operating pressure is reached. Water flow and snow quality is adjusted using the valve on the snowgun. Safety, speed, and simplicity are at the core of the HKD REV hydrant.
